Please understand that many of the advantages of studying abroad are things that cannot be physically seen, such as certifications, but rather personal changes such as the experiencing new customs or widening your perspective and values of the world.
Compared to long-term programs, there is less time to learn English, however you will have many practical opportunities to use English and through trial and error, you will become used to using English in everyday conversations.
For short-term programs, we hope that students will have the opportunity to experience many different things and take on new challenges. We would like to support families according to their needs from pre-arrival, for a successful time in Whistler.

You can experience various cultures.
Canada is the most successful multicultural countries in the world. The many cultures in Canada recognize each other and coexist. Exposure to a place where "being different from others" is normal, will for sure be a valuable life experience.
You will acquire the ability to take action and be more proactive.
When communicating in English, if you do not express your opinion clearly, you will not be heard. In order to achieve your goals, you have to be proactive and firmly communicate your thoughts. If you achieve at least one goal during your time in Canada, it will give you confidence in other aspects of life, moving in to the future.
You will gain life skills.
Being placed in an unfamilar environment and facing many new experiences, you will have to think about how to get through each situation and take action. You will naturally gain life skills by coming up with solutions and tackling each new experience.
You will improve in English.
Output is important in improving English skills. In Whistler, there are many situations where you can use the English that you learned. For example, when ordering food at a restaurant or cafe, or through conversations with friends.
